This handmade soft cheese is delicate, with a mild,creamy taste that may also present the sharp notes typical of a fresh cheese. In appearance it can be distinguished by its band of golden cheese curd sandwiched between two white curd layers.
Little Aston makes an ideal accompaniment to the cheese
course in any meal. Alternatively, it may be eaten on its own with fresh white wines and light or full bodied reds: such is the versatility of the cheese. Its soft texture makes it suitable for spreading on good bread and crackers.
